The Madame Figaro Awards Once Again Supported by Intercollege

The Madame Figaro Awards is an institution that, for the past 20 years, has been honoring the women of Cyprus — women of contribution, dedication, innovation, talent, and creativity. Women whose actions and achievements reflect the ideals of Cypriot society. Women who inspire, pave new paths, and illuminate the lives of others with their strength.
The awards ceremony Madame Figaro Women of the Year 2025, presented by Estée Lauder, took place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in a dazzling awards event at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre and will be broadcast on Sigma TV.
The institution is a tribute to the creativity and contribution of remarkable Cypriot women to society. Through their work in business, science, and culture, these women have become positive role models.
The glamorous Zeta Makrypoulia hosted the evening with elegance and charisma, opening the ceremony in style.
The event began with a unique musical performance by internationally acclaimed artist George Perris, who performed classic pieces accompanied by the Commandaria Orchestra, under the direction of Francis Guy, marking the start of the awards presentations.
With a special anniversary appearance, the legendary Anna Vissi returned to the Madame Figaro stage, bringing energy and emotion to the celebration. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her long and successful music career, presented by the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Philippa Karsera Christodoulides.
As every year, the event carried a philanthropic purpose. The proceeds from ticket sales, amounting to €15,038, were donated to the foundation chosen by Mrs. Natasa Michaelidou, who was honored in the OPAP – Social Contribution category.
The readers of Madame Figaro were the exclusive judges throughout the process. In total, 52,147 readers voted to select the Women of the Year 2025.
This year’s 47 nominees competed across nine categories:
· XM Scientist/Academic
· Answear Fashion & Jewellery Designer
· Musician

Following the ceremony, a glamorous after party took place at Gardens Day & Night, featuring a live performance by popular Cypriot singer Stavros Constantinou.

The event was also supported by the Aesthetics Program of Intercollege, with students adding beauty and glamour to the evening through their striking makeup artistry — a contribution to celebrating the Women of the Year. Their stunning makeup looks were created by the students themselves under the guidance of their instructors. Their appearance was completed with total black dresses from RaptoMichani Boutique.
After the ceremony, guests continued the celebration at the after party at Gardens Day & Night, where they posed for photos with the Intercollege photo frame alongside the Aesthetics Program students.
