Culinary Labs

Intercollege kitchen laboratories are at the heart of our culinary programmes. These facilities are equipped with industry-standard equipment and tools, providing students with a realistic and professional environment for learning and practice. Each lab is designed to simulate different aspects of a professional kitchen, allowing students to gain comprehensive experience in various culinary techniques and practices. Pastry Labs

The Pastry Labs of the Intercollege Culinary Arts Programmes, are specially designed spaces where students can immerse themselves in the art of creating delectable desserts, pastries, and baked goods. With state-of-the-art equipment and expert instructors, our labs provide an ideal environment for honing baking skills and exploring the world of pastry arts. We understand that the quality of ingredients plays a significant role in the final outcome of any pastry. Therefore, we source only the finest and freshest ingredients for our labs. While we respect traditional pastry methods, we also encourage creativity and innovation. The Loft, our rooftop restaurant, offers a unique blend of practical training and real-world experience for our students. Overlooking the campus, this fully operational restaurant serves as a dynamic training ground. Here, students have the opportunity to apply their culinary skills, manage operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. The experience gained at the Loft not only enhances their culinary abilities but also equips them with the necessary skills to excel in the hospitality industry.

The Block

The Block Restaurant, our on-campus restaurant, is another integral part of our hands-on culinary education. Located in the heart of the campus of the University of Nicosia, this fully functional restaurant provides students with a hands-on platform to apply their culinary knowledge and skills. From kitchen experience to service, students gain invaluable experience in all aspects of restaurant management. The Block Restaurant serves as a stepping stone, preparing students for the dynamic and challenging world of the culinary industry.
