With this message, Intercollege would like to inform you of the following:
The course of the Pandemic in Cyprus and the operations of Intercollege:
The difficulties and challenges brought on by the Pandemic to our country, our daily lives and, as expected, to the operations of Intercollege itself, have been significant. Nevertheless, the strict application by all of us of the protective measures against the pandemic coupled with the compliance in conducting COVID-19 rapid diagnostic tests on a weekly basis, has enabled us to continue the normal delivery of the academic programs of the College, with theoretical courses delivered online and laboratory courses conducted with the physical presence of students.
The success of all the efforts undertaken by Intercollege and its students over the last few months in managing the pandemic is proven by the fact that all the academic programs of the College are expected to be completed without any serious delays in the academic calendar and without any shortfalls in terms of academic quality.
Conclusion of the Spring 2021 Semester
Theoretical Courses: The delivery of all theoretical courses of the academic programs of Intercollege will continue online and completed in accordance with the academic calendar of each program.
Laboratory Courses: The delivery of the laboratory courses of the academic programs of Intercollege will continue with the physical presence of students and completed in accordance with the academic calendar of each program, with the proviso that this mode of delivery is allowed under the prevailing government measures against the pandemic.
Final Exams: The final exams for all courses of the academic programs of Intercollege will take place in the period 22/05/2021 to 12/06/2021. The students of the College will receive details regarding the methodology of their final exams as well as their analytical timetable from their academic program coordinators.
Students who are infected by COVID-19 or are in self-isolation: Intercollege is applying special provisions regarding students who have been infected from COVID-19 or who are self-isolating, and as a result are unable to participate in the normal delivery of their courses or partake in their final exams. The affected students will receive relevant instructions directly from their academic program coordinators.
Graduation Ceremony: The graduation ceremony for the students of Intercollege who have graduated in the academic year 2019-2020 as well as for students who will graduate in the academic year 2020-2021, is scheduled to take place jointly for both academic years around the end of June 2021, with the proviso that such a ceremony is allowed under the prevailing government measures against the pandemic. More information regarding this subject will be provided by the College around the end of May 2021.
Intercollege encourages its students to stay in contact and respond promptly to communication with members of the faculty and to also diligently observe all announcements issued by the College as well as by their program coordinators.
