Conclusion of the Fall 2020 Semester – Final Exams
Commencement of the Spring 2021 Semester
Dear Students,
Happy New Year!
In light of the negative epidemiological situation prevailing in Cyprus with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic during this period, INTERCOLLEGE, having the health of its students, faculty and staff as its absolute concern, wishes to inform you of the following decisions:
Conclusion of the Fall 2020 Semester – Final Exams:
Final Exams Date: The final exams for the courses of Intercollege’s academic programs will take place in the period 11/01/2020 to 29/01/2020.
Final Exams Process: The final exams for the Fall 2020 Semester will take place online making use of the College’s e-learning platform in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education.
Faculty members will provide students with instructions on how the exams themselves will take place.
Final Exams Schedule: Faculty members will provide students with their analytical final exams schedule.
Operation of the Administrative and Academic Departments of the College:
During this period, the administrative and academic departments of Intercollege continue to operate primarily from home and are executing their duties by telephone or electronically. Selected administrative and academic emergency staff are physically present and are executing their duties from the premises of the College.
Commencement of the Spring 2021 Semester:
The day for the commencement of course delivery for the academic programs of Intercollege for Spring 2021 Semester will be 08/02/2021.
The delivery of the theoretical courses of academic programs of Intercollege will take place exclusively online making use of the College’s e-learning platform.
The delivery of the laboratory courses of the academic programs of Intercollege is expected to take place with the physical presence of students at the College while simultaneously strictly observing all necessary health and safety measures in a similar manner to the delivery of the laboratory courses during the Fall 2020 Semester.
Students Outside Cyprus:
Students that have returned to their home-countries because of the pandemic and are currently outside Cyprus, will receive analytical instructions from Faculty members both for the process of the Fall 2020 Final Exams and with respect to the commencement of the Spring 2021 Semester.
Probability for the amendment of the College’s decisions:
Intercollege may be forced to amend the above decisions in the case where from today, and for a period during the next 3-4 weeks there are new (and negative) developments with regards to the pandemic, or in the case where new restrictive measures are decided by the government that affect in a material way the operations of the College.
For this reason, Intercollege encourages its students to stay in contact and respond promptly to communications with members of the faculty and to also diligently observe all announcements issued by the College as well as by their program coordinators. Moreover, it urges all of its students to strictly maintain all health and safety protocols with respect to the pandemic.
Intercollege wishes to all of its students health, happiness, progress and prosperity for the new year 2021 and success in their final exams.
