Fire Safety Training for First-Year Culinary Arts Students at Intercollege


Intercollege, as part of its commitment to providing high-quality education and professional training, organized its annual fire safety seminar for first-year students of the Culinary Arts program.
The training took place on campus and was delivered by the Cyprus Fire Service. Students attended a comprehensive session that included both theoretical instruction and practical demonstrations. The seminar covered key topics such as potential fire hazards in professional kitchens, prevention methods, and correct emergency response procedures.
The presentation and live demonstration were conducted by Mr. Nikolas Evangelou, Fire Officer, who shared valuable knowledge and practical guidance, enhancing students’ awareness, preparedness, and professional responsibility regarding safety in the workplace.
