Intercollege – Participation in the 10th Pan-Cypriot Pharmaceutical Conference


The Pharmacist of Tomorrow: Pioneer in Health, Ally in the Community
Dr. Marios Stylianou, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Nicosia and Coordinator of the Aesthetics Programme at Intercollege, participated as a speaker at the 10th Pan-Cypriot Pharmaceutical Conference, presenting on the topic: “Cosmeceuticals for the treatment of undesired skin conditions.”
The conference, organized by the Cyprus Pharmaceutical Association and held from 17 to 19 October 2025 at the Hilton Nicosia, brought together a large number of pharmaceutical and scientific professionals. It focused on the role of the modern pharmacist as a pioneer in health and an active ally of the community.
During his presentation, Dr. Stylianou highlighted the importance of cosmeceutical products as a bridge between aesthetics and dermatological care. He presented the scientific principles and chemical processes that determine their effectiveness in addressing acne and skin ageing.
Intercollege’s participation in the conference further strengthens the connection between academia and the healthcare sector, reaffirming the Institution’s commitment to scientific education and innovation in the fields of Aesthetics and Health Sciences.
