Intercollege Embarks on Pivotal Role in DIGITAL-IN Project in Athens

Intercollege is excited to announce its participation in a new Erasmus+ KA2 research project, titled DIGITAL-IN.

The DIGITAL-IN project, co-funded by the European Union, and headed by the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, represents a collaborative effort across European institutions to champion digital inclusion. Intercollege’s involvement in this project demonstrates the institution’s focus, in promoting digital education on a national and European level. This initiative, marks the commencement of an important European project, focused on improving digital skills for the inclusion of digitally vulnerable groups.

The kick-off meeting of the project, took place in Athens on December 8, 2023. Intercollege was represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Nicolas Kythreotis, and Mr. Nicolas Ioannides. The discussions at the meeting were centered around the project’s objectives, highlighting the strategic planning for the first 14 months of implementation. Intercollege plays a crucial role in the ‘Needs Analysis for DVGs: National and Comparative Framework’ work package. This involves conducting a thorough analysis of digital skills needs in each partner country, which will enable the creation of a comprehensive report, guiding future digital education strategies.
