George Philippides holds a Higher Engineering Diploma of the Higher Technical Institute. He obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology & Economics in 2001. Since 2001, he worked as a mechanical engineer in various companies in Cyprus and abroad, with premises as a main range of work and gained vast experience in terms of design, planning, supervision, and installation of various mechanical systems \/ facilities. In Intercollege Nicosia Mr Philippides from 2014, acts as a coordinator of the \u201cMechanical Installations Technician\u201d program while teaching various courses. He also acts as an industry liaison with regards to the placement of students to respective Mechanical Installations companies as part of their Summer internship.
