Both libraries
provide services and resources in support of the
specific academic, research and educational needs of
their campuses.
Through our
on-line catalog
(InterCAT), users at both
campuses can have access to books and journals available
on our web:
www.library.unic.ac.cy. The
catalog can be searched by Author, Title, Subject and
Keyword and there is an Interlibrary Loan Service for
the borrowing and returning of materials from the Main
Nicosia library to the other two campuses. In addition to the
shared access of the catalog, there is shared access to
a number of databases under
Databases & Articles,
with thousands of journal articles in abstract and
full-text, all relevant to the students’ subject areas
of study. A search can also be made for accessing
e-books, e-journals, and subject E-Resources
by clicking on
E-Resources
Students, from any other campus library have
to present, at the Circulation Desk, a valid University
of Nicosia/Intercollege
ID card and they are responsible to follow the rules and
regulations at each campus. Regulations may vary depending
on the needs of the campus. Familiarize yourself with
the loan policies of each library from which you borrow
and the Opening Hours of each campus. |
