Upon successful completion of the programme students will be able to:

  •  Gain a thorough grounding in the skills required to pursue a career in the field of corporate communications;
  • Gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills to enable them to implement the concept of integrated communications as the organisation puts into operation its strategies; and
  • Gain an  education that broadens their cultural horizons enabling them to become responsible, productive and creative members of society.

Students pursuing the Communications programme are prepared for employment in the broad areas of communications, particularly in journalism, radio and television, as well as of various areas of commercial communications.  The programme aims at broadering the cultural horizon of its students, teaching communicaiton courses, public relations, advertising, marketing and journalism, as well as helping students utilise their talent in the practical applications of the knowledge they attain.

Career Prospects

Holders of the Diploma in Communications may be employed in advertising, marketing and public relations departments of firms or in radio and TV stations. Graduates may also choose to pursue further studies in the field in Cyprus or abroad.
